  • Weniger Reinung durch Kettenwachs

    Drive faster!

A chain treated with hot wax reduces friction significantly compared to an oiled chain - in all weather conditions. This means you can save up to 5 watts and put more power directly onto the road!

  • Längere Haltbarkeit durch Kettenwachs

    Keep going!

With a hot waxed chain you can ride up to 1000 km without having to treat it again. The wax protects your chain in the long term and ensures smooth rides - less maintenance, more kilometers!

  • Leise Fahrradkette durch Kettenwachs

    Drive more quietly!

Thanks to hot wax, your chain runs particularly quietly. The wax minimizes metallic grinding and friction between the chain links, so you can enjoy your ride without any annoying noises - more driving fun and a quieter driving experience!

  • Saubere Ketten durch Kettenwachs

    Clean less!

With chain wax, dirt and dust do not stick as easily as with oiled chains. This means your chain stays cleaner for longer and you save yourself the hassle of cleaning it frequently - more time for riding, less time for cleaning!

The choice of gears

Are you unsure how many gears your bike has? Just look at your cassette and count the sprockets. If you have any further questions, we'll be happy to help you!

The right chain length

The chain on the bike must be the optimal length to avoid damage to the drive and the chain itself. Only when the tension is correct will the chain run quietly, efficiently and increase the service life of the drive components such as the cassette, chainrings and rear derailleur. We will help you determine the right chain length!

Here is a detailed guide to determine the optimal length of your new bike chain:

  1. Counting teeth : Add the number of teeth of the largest chainring at the front and the largest pinion at the rear.
  2. Perform calculation : Divide this sum by 2.
  3. Adding chain links : Then add 2 chain links to this result.

This method ensures that the chain is optimally tensioned even in the maximum gear combination.

Alternative method : If you still have the old chain and its length was correct, you can count the number of links on the old chain and use this number on the new chain. Please note that simply placing them next to each other is not enough, as the old chain may have stretched through use.

Note : On mountain bikes or full suspension bikes it may be useful to add 1-2 extra chain links to ensure that the chain is not too tight at full compression.
