TheSRAM XX1 Eagle 12-speed chain (waxed)is specifically designed for Eagle drives and combines lightness with extreme durability. Thanks to hollow pins and Flow Link™ technology, it ensures precise, quiet and smooth shifting. The smooth, flat tabs minimize friction and wear without compromising on strength or performance.

We also pre-treated the chain with high-quality hot wax from Optimize. This means less dirt sticking, a lifespan that is up to 3 times longer and a mileage of up to 1000 kilometers without any post-treatment - a reliable companion for every adventure.

Note on the waxing process

Our pre-waxed chains first go through a multi-stage degreasing process and are thoroughly cleaned with ultrasound. They are then treated in a hot wax bath with chain wax from Cyclowax . We pay precise attention to the optimal wax temperature and the perfect cooling time.

Before full use, the pre-waxed chain must be run in for about 50 kilometers to ensure it runs smoothly and quietly. During this time, small pieces of wax may come off - this is completely normal.
